The publication contains extensive statistical information concerning the living conditions of Bialostokian inhabitants and the state of the economy of Białystok in 2014. In order to illustrate changes and tendencies, most data are compared with the results of the analogous surveys in 2005, 2010, and 2013 and selected information was shown in a longer retrospective. Moreover, there is a table presenting Białystok against the background of other cities which are the seats of voivod or voivodship regional councils.
Compared with the previous edition, contents of the publication have been enriched with the latest population projection until 2050 prepared by the Central Statistical Office, data on sports clubs and cycling paths. The information on registered unemployed has been also expanded.
