Comprehensive information about forestry in 2023 against the background of previous years. The publication includes a wide range of data characterising the state of forest resources, changes occurring in forest resources, the management and the economic exploitation of the forest, threats to and the protection of forest environment, hunting and economic activity conducted in forestry and wood sector. In addition, due to the use of international data sources, forestry issues in Poland are presented in relation to such issues in EU member states and selected countries of the world.

Correction dated 06th December 2024

The pdf file "Statistical Yearbook of Forestry 2024" in chapter V "Hunting" in Tabl. 21 (135) on pages 168 and 169 has been modified. Data on poaching and damage in hunting districts (in terms of animals gnawed by dogs) has been corrected in all rows from the 5th to the 10th column. Detailed information on the corrections made can be found in the attached xlsx file.
