The publication contains information concerning demographic situation, living conditions of population and the state of the economy of Podlasie presented in the form of text and tables enriched with maps and graphs. In order to better illustrate changes taking place in the region, a lot of data are presented in relation to the previous year and to 2010, and some of them – in a nine-year retrospective.

The publication presents forestry issues concerning four countries, namely Poland, Belarus, Lithuania and Ukraine from statistical angle.
