This publication is a thematic elaboration on housing conditions of population. It contains information regarding the number of buildings with dwellings according to their types as well as data on building construction age, the form of ownership, the size of dwelling buildings and equipment of the dwellings with basic technical and sanitary installations. Moreover, it presents information concerning the number of dwellings together with their characteristics, and inhabited dwellings in particular, in terms of the ownership type, the age of the buildings, the size of the dwellings and equipping them with technical and sanitary installations. The publication also contains a set of indicators regarding dwelling size and dwelling population density.

Data presented in this work concern the voivodship in general, and some data – powiats and gminas as well. More important voivodship data are presented against the background of the country. In order to illustrate the scale and the directions of changes that had taken place in the region in the last inter-census period, the results of the National Population and Housing Census 2021 have been compared with the data obtained from the census conducted in 2011.

The information is presented in the form of an analytical description supplemented with tables, maps, charts, and explanations of basic concepts.
