The publication is the first thematic elaboration, in which the results of the National Census of Population and Housing in 2011 concerning Podlaskie Voivodship are presented. The publication comprises methodological and analytical parts enriched with a graphic presentation as well as statistical tables. It provides a wide range of information concerning the size and structure of population by sex and age, de jure and de facto marital status, origin, citizenship, national and ethnic identity, religious denomination, native and used in the domestic contacts language as well as educational level and specialty of education of the population in the voivodship. In the following elaboration there are also characterized persons staying in collective living quarters and homeless persons.
