The publication presents an analysis of the demographic situation of the region in 2021 against the background of the previous year, and selected information has been shown in retrospection from 2000. It contains a wide set of data on the number and structure of the population, marriages, divorces, separations, fertility, mortality, life expectancy, the directions and intensity of migration, as well as population projection

The publication includes characteristics of individual elements of the environment, the scale of their degradation, pollution and activities to protect as well as information on forestry and hunting.

According to the methodology of the European Forest Accounts (EFA), the value of gross output of forestry and logging division in Poland in 2020 amounted to PLN 22.5 billion, which was a fall in comparison with the previous year by 1.8% (in current prices).
