The study illustrates demographic situation of the region in 2014. Selected information is shown in retrospection from 2000. It contains a wide set of data on the number and structure of the population as well as on vital statistics and internal and international migration. Compared with the previous edition contents of publication has been enriched with the latest population projection until 2050, prepared by the Central Statistical Office. Information included in the publication covers the whole voivodship, subregions, powiats as well as gminas in division into urban and rural areas. It is presented in the form of tables, maps, graphs and short analytical commentary.
