The study illustrates demographic situation of the region in 2017. Selected information is shown in retrospection from 2000. It contains a wide set of data on the number and structure of the population, vital statistics, life expectancy, directions and the intensity of migration as well as on the population projection. Information included in the publication covers the whole voivodship, subregions, powiats as well as gminas in division into urban and rural areas. It is presented in the form of analytical commentary, tables, maps and graphs.
