The publication contains a wide set of information characterizing the living standard of population and the condition of the region economy. There is also included the table presenting the voivodship against the background of the country. Data in the territorial division are published in a separate publication entitled ”Podlaskie Voivodship. Subregions, Powiats, Gminas”. The Yearbook presents a statistical image of Podlasie in 2018, and in order to illustrate the ongoing changes and emerging trends, some data were shown in relation to the years 2000, 2005, 2010 as well as 2014–2017.
